SMS Messaging Program

Pull Up Q (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates Pull Up Q, a virtual waitlist and appointment service. Participating businesses use Pull Up Q to text their own customers transactional updates — your place in line, a notice when it’s your turn, and appointment confirmations and reminders. This page describes that text-message program and how you consent to it.
How you opt in (consent)
You join the program in one of two ways, and only at your request:
- By text: you text a participating business’s keyword — for example, JOIN — to that business’s phone number to add yourself to their waitlist. Sending that text is your opt-in.
- On the web: you enter your mobile number yourself on a business’s online booking or check-in page and submit the form. Submitting your number is your opt-in.
A typical call-to-action a business displays (on signage, its website, or at the counter) reads:
“Text JOIN to [business number] to join our waitlist. You’ll get a text when it’s your turn. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
What messages you’ll receive
These are transactional messages tied to the visit or appointment you requested — not marketing. They include:
- A confirmation that you’ve joined the line, with your position
- A notice when it’s your turn / your table or appointment is ready
- Appointment confirmations and day-before / hour-before reminders
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your activity — typically a few messages per visit or appointment.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile carrier’s plan.
Opting out & help
Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe; you’ll get a final confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP for help, or email us at support@pullupq.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your text-messaging consent (opt-in data) with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in information is never shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Sample messages
- “You’re in line at Downtown Barbershop — you’re #3, about a 20 min wait. We’ll text when it’s your turn. Reply STOP to opt out.”
- “You’re up next at Downtown Barbershop — come on in! Reply STOP to opt out.”
- “Reminder: your appointment at Sharp Cuts is tomorrow at 2:00 PM. Reply STOP to opt out.”
